Catch up and reset for the hobby clock

I've not painted in so long that my Superglue went hard.

Catch up is needed indeed. Therefore this will be a rather scatter-shot approach to blogging then over the next year. With less time to do anything with a tiny devourer (e.g. baby), plus the new house its getting harder to arrange time to focus on a little painting. And I also have this little demon called Warlords of Draenor to worry about as competition for my limited free time.

I'm a quibbler through and through; Rules

Sometimes, you just have to walk away, and cut your losses. Sometimes you just won't know every single rule, from every codex, through every connotation, and how you manage that un-knowledge can really define what kind of experience you get from the game.

We all have those moments of brow-furrowing when you think 'do I know that off by heart?' And that doubt can be a real pain in the ass, and I'll illustrate a few with my big dumb mug.

I’m going to say three things.
- No I’m not looking forwards to 7th Edition
- I didn’t know my stomach lining would look like that
- Moving house as a couple does not mean that you can prioritise a game room over an extra bedroom!

Hypocritical

Wow, the hypocrite in me really needs to relax.

I always follow the big BL types in their collective bloggage and I’d been waiting for a new shiny something from Mr Abnett for some time (Mostly because he’s yet to write something that I haven’t immensely enjoyed but mainly because 9/10ths of all his posts have a tied-in competition or prizes, free stuff!) and I’d noted that none had been posted for several months. In my fan boy eagerness I sighed and jumped to this wretched collective of thoughts and saw that I myself hadn’t contributed anything either since the 25^th May. Wow.
